Downloading a TikTok video on a phone is easy — but doing it without the watermark and in full quality is where phones make it oddly complicated. Android and iPhone handle downloads differently, so here is a complete, up-to-date walkthrough for both.
Android: the easy case
Android lets browsers save files directly, so the whole thing takes about thirty seconds:
- Open the TikTok app, tap Share → Copy link on the video you want.
- Open tiksave-pk.pages.dev in Chrome (or any browser).
- Tap the Paste button — the link fills in automatically.
- Press Download, then choose Download Without Watermark.
- The file lands in your Downloads folder; from there you can move it to Gallery or share it anywhere.
Tip: add the site to your home screen (browser menu → Add to Home screen) and it behaves like an app — one tap next time.
iPhone: one extra step, still simple
iOS sandboxes downloads inside Safari, so the video first goes to Safari’s download list:
- Copy the TikTok link as above.
- Open TikSave PK in Safari and paste the link.
- Press Download → Download Without Watermark.
- Tap the download icon that appears next to the address bar to open the downloads list.
- Tap the file → Save to Photos (or save it to the Files app if you prefer).
Once the video is in Photos, it behaves like any video you recorded: shareable on WhatsApp, editable, available offline.
Common problems and fixes
- “Nothing happens after pressing Download.” Some ad-blockers or private-browsing modes block downloads. Turn them off for the site and retry.
- “The link says invalid.” Make sure you copied the full link — long-press in the input box, choose Paste (don’t retype it).
- “Video is blurry.” The tool gives you the original upload quality. If the source video itself was low resolution, no downloader can improve it.
- “The video won’t save to Photos on iPhone.” Check Settings → Safari → Downloads, and that Photos has permission enabled.
Why not just use the TikTok app’s save button?
TikTok’s built-in Save video option adds the moving watermark and the username overlay to every file. That is fine for archiving, but useless for clean sharing or editing. Online tools fetch the original file instead — which is why the result looks noticeably better. We explain the full method in our watermark guide.
Do I need an app at all?
No — and that is the point. App-store downloaders are often slow, subscription-trapped or removed overnight. A web tool is always up to date, works on every phone, and there is nothing to uninstall later. If you download often, the home-screen shortcut gives you the app experience without the app.
